He's an Mexican Artist, was born in Queretaro City, Mexico in 1953. Studied Advertising and artistic drawing and expanded his horizons in the audiovisual communications business by working in that field for many years like graphic designer, dedicated now for many years in body and soul to the painting where he fusing his largest passions Rock Music and Art.

Monrock Gallery is development inspired by his Idols, Myths and Legends of Rock Music and Movie Icons of Hollywood in Pop Art Style and capture with realistic touch, this is a tribute to the great Legends of Rock and Movie Stars of Hollywood; musicians, bands and celebrities that have been the creative influence to develop to this pictorial work and very important part of their life, We hope that this trip by this site has been of its affability and it has taken to us to remember those nostalgic wonderful years 50's, 60’s, 70's and 80’s decades.

Hector Monroy ''Monrock'' was exhibiting and solding between jan. 2005 and apr. 2007 in TV Art Auctions in www.finearttreasures.net and www.showcaseauction.tv from Hollywood studios to all the United States, h've shown in numerous galleries of California, he has paintings in homes and collectors in many parts of the United States.
